Data collection on our website

Experoment.com processes Personal Data as a Data Controller as defined in the GDPR.

Experoment.com automatically collects some information from you in order to provide you with the services that you have requested. This information may include: IP addresses, browser type, operating system and access times.

The collection of this information is done through and shared with our third-party partners:

  1. Netlify, which hosts Experoment.com (https://www.netlify.com/). The data Netlify collects as a host provider is managed according to Netlify’s privacy policy that can be found here: https://www.netlify.com/privacy/. Specifically, IP addresses are retained in logs for up to 30 days.
  2. Google Analytics, which analyzes this information in order to provide us with useful statistics (https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/). Experoment.com has IP anonymization enabled, which means only a shortened version of your IP address will be shared with Google Analytics. Note that, as Google Analytics is based in the United States, this anonymized data will be transferred out of the European Economic Area.

This data will be used in order to analyze how you and other visitors interact with the website, provide general statistics regarding website use, and, ultimately, help us maintain an excellent quality of service.

Additionally, you may provide us with information by corresponding with us by phone, mail, email or otherwise. The personal information you provide may include your full name, address, email address and phone number. Only if choose to, you can provide us with your email address in order to receive news and updates from Experoment. Your email will be collected and stored by our third-party partner Mailchimp, a service which organizes and analyzes the distribution of newsletters. Mailchimp is based in the United States and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. The Privacy Shield is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the US to ensure compliance with European privacy standards in the United States.

Usage of your personal data

The data we collect from you are used to improve the quality of the services and products we provide to you.
